Welcome the Year of the Tiger
In Chinese element theory, each zodiac sign is associated with one of the five elements: Gold (Metal), Wood, Water, Fire, or Earth and 2022 is the Year of the Water Tiger, which begins on February 1, 2022 and ends on January 21, 2023. The Tiger is known as the king of all beasts in China. The zodiac sign Tiger is a symbol of strength and braveness. To welcome the Year of the Tiger, we will be celebrating as follows:

  • LNY activities: January 4-16
  • Voice of CDNIS @ US lunch: January 10, 11 and 17
  • LNY Flower Fair and Food Fair: January 25 and 26
  • LNY Concerts: January 28
  • DDD: January 24-28

LNY Fair Concert – to be moved to an online event

LNY Celebrations: Virtual Concerts (Flash Update - January 17, 2022)
Following the recent change to social distancing guidelines in Hong Kong, our Lunar New Year concerts are going virtual. The pre-recorded LNY concerts will be shown on Friday, January 28 during Lower School Chinese classes and Upper School last block homeroom classes.
