1.  Experiential-Learning Coordinator (2022-2023)

Reporting to the Head of Local & Global Engagement and working closely with divisional Vice Principals, Grade Level and Trip Leaders, the Experiential-Learning Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of coordination, administration and documentation for the office of Local & Global Engagement (LGE). This includes but is not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for bookings, documentation, folios, budgets and administration of the CDNIS whole-school experiential-learning program (Experience Weeks)
  • Support for bookings, documentation, folios, budgets and administration of all Canadian International School (CDNIS) field trips and off campus service engagements
  • Maintain a risk management database with incident reports, records and risk assessments
  • Development and management of the LGE website, community connections, charitable giving and service providers databases
  • Processing of all LGE program service provider agreements, onboarding, and annual updates 
  • Support the administration of the Hong Kong Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit and any other SDG related events
  • Coordination and lodgement of documentation for the Hong Kong Award for Environmental Excellence and any other related programs
  • Collaborate with the finance team regarding contracts, payments etc
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources, Facilities and Finance departments regarding service agreements, bus and facility bookings, Sexual Criminal Records Checks, financial folios and budgets.
  • Any other administrative tasks required in the office of LGE

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Diploma level qualification in Outdoor Education, Sports and Recreation Management or related fields, with experience in Business and Administration, or;
  • Minimum of a Diploma level qualification in Business and Administration or related fields, with experience in Outdoor Education, Sports and Recreation
  • At least two years relevant working experience
  • A genuine interest in Outdoor, Service and Experiential-Learning as well as Education for Sustainable Development
  • Demonstrated high level of organisation and administrative skills including record keeping, budgeting, scheduling and use of google suite
  • Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team, and developing effective working relationships with stakeholders such as colleagues, service providers, parents and students
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to inspire trust and confidence in working with members of the school community and effective written and verbal communications in English
  • A self starter who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment, embracing challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Outdoor Recreation or a similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration with experience in experiential-learning
  • Qualifications or experience in risk management for outdoor programs
  • Qualifications or experience in Law, specifically legal agreements and contracts


2.   Lower School Educational Assistant (2022-2023)

Working closely with the classroom teacher and answering directly to the Lower School Principal, Lower School Educational Assistant is responsible for supporting the classroom teacher to meet the academic and pastoral needs of the students.

• Current or recent experience working with children in an educational, child care or special education setting (desirable)
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Applicants must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong or posses a valid visa to work in Hong Kong
