These student photos, along with the composite homeroom photos, will be sent home after Chinese New Year.

Ocean Park buses on Nam Long Shan Road

As the cable car at Ocean Park is closed for maintenance, buses will be used to shuttle park guests between Waterfront and Summit via Nam Long Shan Road until mid-December. Parents are asked to remind their children who walk to/from school along Nam Long Shan Road to be mindful of the extra traffic expected over the coming two weeks. Thank you in advance for your attention.

No Private Vehicles dropping off/picking up students

A reminder that for safety and efficiency, with only exceptions for Early Years students, staff, and students with ambulatory issues, no private vehicles (including taxis, Uber's, etc) are allowed in the school's turnarounds, parking spaces and driveways and no drop offs/pick ups are to occur along Shum Wan Road. Students are encouraged to use the city's public transportation systems and/or the school bus service. Following a meeting with police last week, in which they shared photos and video of the traffic situation, the school will take photos and record vehicle license plate numbers of those families who continue to disregard the school's no private vehicle guidelines.

Donor Appreciation Reception

Thank you to all our generous donors who made time to join us last Thursday evening. For many, it was their first time on campus. It was a pleasure to share all the exciting developments that have happened since February 2020 and our plans for the future. Also, a big thank you to our student tour guides who volunteered their evening to help make the night extra special. We look forward to organizing more events throughout the year to recognize our community's generosity and support. Please watch your email for our next appeal.

Message from the Nurse's Office: Daily Temperature Record

A reminder to enter your child's temperature each day in the Parent Portal before they arrive on campus. Routine monitoring of body temperature can aid our school nurses in early detection of persons with a fever, which is an effective measure to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Failure to submit your child's temperature may prevent them from being admitted to campus. If your child has a fever (37.5 or higher), they should not attend school. Thank you for your cooperation for keeping the CDNIS community healthy and safe.
