Construction Project in 6/F Cafeteria Annex

Last weekend, work began on the redesign of the area by the Maple Cafe, which will become the interim design studio and bistro. This is a one- to two-year placement to allow space for increasing design equipment and additional classes. The new multi-purpose area will be used by various design classes as well as the Blueprint club. It is being designed so that it can revert back to a cafeteria overflow area or some other purpose based on the results of a facility strategic plan that will begin in September.
