Sick Students - Please Stay Home

Please do not send your child to school if they are feeling unwell, especially if their temperature is 37.5C or higher, or if they have a cough, runny nose, diarrhea or rash. As recommended by the CHP, Department of Health, we strongly advise parents to check their child's temperature before going to school. Please remember to email the school nurse if your child does not come to school because they are ill. Many thanks for helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment at CDNIS.

School Measures to Tackle Bouts of Sickness

The following measures have been put in place: the lift buttons are sanitised every hour. Toys in Lower School classrooms are washed by cleaners daily. Hand sanitiser dispensers are in each classroom. Three infra-red cameras are operational at school entrances to check the temperatures of those entering the school. The campus is deep cleaned every weekend. Please also ensure that your contact information with the school is updated (please check/update via the Parent Portal), and if the school nurse calls to inform that your child is sick, pick them up from school promptly.

Last week, David Baird sent a letter to all parents about a new partnership CDNIS has been working on over the pat few months. Back in early August, a number of our students attended a week-long Tencent Camp which opened the door to building a relationship with them. Details about the "Smart Safe School Partnership," including how you can take part in a parent survey next week, are in David's letter.
