These latest stories highlight how students at CDNIS are creatively taking action: from supporting refugees' soap-making business and writing about it in the New York Times essay contest, to doing a keynote as a marine environmental activist at the international "Ocean Summit" to organizing donation drives and food sales to support those in need around HK! Browse through all the experiences on our "Stories" page of the Taking Action website!

The 2018 Alan Dick Community Blast
CDNIS has recognised Alan Dick and his contribution to the school every spring since 2010. This year the event will involve US kids visiting LS classrooms to enjoy a variety of activities. These will include watching a video about Alan, dancing his favorite Hokey Pokey Dance and learning a few others, and enjoying mini-cupcakes. A montage video will be shared widely among the CDNIS community after the event.
Fire Alarm Procedures
Do you know what to do if the fire alarm rings? If you are in the 6/F cafeteria or perhaps enjoying a latte at the Maple Cafe, the evacuation route for parents and others is to go across the pitch towards the LLAC. From there, turn left up the stairs and follow the signs out to Nam Long Shan. If you have any questions, email the Health and Safety team.
Sick Students - Please Stay Home
Please do not send your child to school if they are feeling unwell, especially if their temperature is 37.5C or higher, or if they have a cough, runny nose, diarrhea or rash. As recommended by the CHP, Department of Health, we strongly advise parents to check their child's temperature before going to school. Please remember to email the school nurse if your child does not come to school because they are ill. Many thanks for helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment at CDNIS.
