New Ways We Are "Taking Action" @ CDNIS!
These latest stories highlight how parents, students & staff at CDNIS are taking action: from supporting HK's needy & homeless with a "kindness walk" led by ImactHK to E-club's beach clean-up and zero-waste veggie potluck lunch to Amnesty's "Vow of Silence" to Gavel Club x GIN speech competition. Browse the "Stories" on the Taking Action website! Have 'stories' to share? Contact Ms. Safaya, Local & Global Engagement Coordinator.

Congratulations to our five awesome SEASAC Teams in action during in March. We really couldn't be any prouder of their SEASAC Gymnastics (Silver and Bronze), SEASAC Softball (Girls Silver, Boys Bronze + SEASAC Sportsmanship) and SEASAC Badminton (SEASAC Sportsmanship). For all the results please visit the Timberwolves website.
CDNIS Gold, Silver and Bronze at T&F Championships
We’re proud of our awesome results at the ISSFHK Track and Field Championships. But, we’re even prouder that our Track and Field programme combines our LS and US students into one supportive team. It was great to see Grade 11/12s looking after Grade 3/4s and Grade 3/4s looking up to superb role models like Charlie and Danielle. For a full recap of this event check out the TWolves site.
CDNIS proud to make a Splash... with Splash Foundation
We are proud to be associated with Splash Foundation and the incredible work they do in our pool. Last month, a Splash Dash relay was held in our pool. This is a great example of CDNIS living its mission; making a difference through local and global engagement. Thanks Splash and thanks CDNIS. Congratulations to the CDNIS Swim team for winning the team award.

Parent Liaison Committee
This is the third year since the Board of Governors has re-established the Parent Liaison Committee (PLC). The PLC is a multi-stakeholder Committee, comprised of Governors, Parents, and School Administrators. The PLC serves as a communication channel between parents and the Board of Governors. To contact the PLC, please email Parent Liaison Committee using your @CDNIS parent email account.
Please take a moment to review the school’s weather policy. School closures are communicated via the main school website. The weather policy can also be found in the Parent Information Handbook (pg 57-59). Additional information is also listed on the EDB website.
Parent ID Badges
Please remember to wear your parent ID badge when at school - including weekends. To help in better identifying people when they are on the campus, staff, parents, guardians and visitors have a special coloured lanyard to accompany their ID card. Please ensure your ID badge is clearly displayed at all times when you are on the campus. Questions – please see Jon Adams.
Emergency Evacuation Information
Parents and visitors, do you know where to go if the fire alarm rings when you are in the building? If you are with a class, follow them out. If you are at the Maple Cafe or 6/F cafeteria, head across the pitch, up the LLAC stairs and out to the parent/visitor waiting area located right out front of the school. Watch this student made video to find out where to go. If you have any questions, email Jon Adams
Restricted Access to 9/F Roundabout
Please note that in order to take the annual Grade 12 all class photo in front of the school, taxis and private vehicles will not be permitted access to the 9/F roundabout from 7:40am-8am on Thursday, April 26. Private vehicles and taxis will be directed towards the LLAC roundabout. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Sick Students - Please Stay Home
Please do not send your child to school if they are feeling unwell, especially if their temperature is 37.5C or higher, or if they have a cough, runny nose, diarrhea or rash. As recommended by the CHP, Department of Health, we strongly advise parents to check their child's temperature before going to school. Please remember to email the school nurse if your child does not come to school because they are ill. Many thanks for helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment at CDNIS.
